Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Saturday took a dig at opposition parties condemning the BJP-led Uttar Pradesh government’s order asking shop owners to display their names and numbers during the Kanwar Yatra, saying there is “no need to hide identity”.
“If Ramdev has no problem in revealing his identity, why should Rehman have a problem in revealing his identity? Everyone should be proud of their name,” he told media persons in Haridwar.
Ramdev said, “There is no need to hide the name, only purity is needed in the work. If our work is pure, then it does not matter whether we are Hindu, Muslim or from any other community…”
