CMAT 2026 Application: Students can use their CMAT scores to apply for MBA or PGDM courses in AICTE-approved institutes and universities.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the registration window for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2026. Students planning to pursue MBA in the 2026-27 academic year can register for the exam at cmat.nta.nic.in. They can use their CMAT scores to apply for MBA or PGDM courses in AICTE-approved institutes and universities.
It is a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted at various centers across the country. It will evaluate your skills in quantitative techniques, logical reasoning, language comprehension, general awareness and innovation and entrepreneurship. Additionally, it will test your decision making abilities. It will be conducted for a duration of 180 minutes.
Applications for CMAT 2026 exam will be accepted till November 17, 2025. MBA entrance exam fee can be paid till November 18, 2025. After this, correction in CMAT 2026 form can be done from November 20 to 21. CMAT 2026 exam date will be announced soon.
CMAT 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification: Candidates must have Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university. Students in the final year of graduation degree can also apply for this examination.
Age Limit: There is no age restriction to appear for the exam.
CMAT 2026: Application Fee
The application fee for CMAT 2026 varies by category and must be paid online:
General Category: Rs 2500
Female candidates: Rs 1250
Reserved Category (SC, ST, PWD, OBC-NCL, EWS): Rs 1250

CMAT 2026 application process is completely online. Follow these steps to complete the form:
step 1. Visit the official NTA CMAT website cmat.nta.nic.in.
step 2. Click on CMAT 2026 Registration link on the homepage.
step 3. Complete the registration by providing basic information like name and contact details.
step 4. After successful registration, log in and fill the application form.
Step 5. Upload your photograph, signature and other required documents in the prescribed format.
Step 6. Pay the application fee as per your category.
Step 7. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
