Lionel Messi’s Mumbai visit was a highlight for Bollywood stars, including Shilpa Shetty and Shahid Kapoor’s children.
Argentine football legend Lionel Messi’s GOAT India Tour in Mumbai became a dream come true moment not only for the fans but also for the Bollywood celebrities and their families. Shahid Kapoor was spotted at the Wankhede Stadium with his kids Misha and Zain, while Shilpa Shetty also arrived with her son Viaan for a special meet and greet with the football icon.

On Sunday, Shahid reached the Wankhede Stadium with his daughter Misha and son Zain for the much-awaited interaction with Lionel Messi. While the actor remained in the background, his children took center stage as they posed for pictures with the football legend. Later, Shahid’s wife Mira Rajput shared pictures of her kids with Messi on Instagram Stories and wrote, “Now you are the father of a goat,” hinting at the kids’ excitement over the memorable moment.
Shilpa Shetty also attended the event with her son Viaan. After meeting Messi, both of them were seen leaving the stadium smiling. Commenting on the experience, Shilpa told the media standing outside the venue, “It was great. It was a dream come true.”
Apart from them, Kareena Kapoor Khan and her sons, Taimur Ali Khan and Jahangir Ali Khan were also seen posing with Messi. Jeh’s adorable moment – where he refused to leave Messi’s side after he posed for a photo – has fans in splits. Eventually Kareena had to pull him gently to make way for others.

After a disappointing meet in Kolkata and a successful one in Hyderabad, Messi reached Mumbai on 14 December. The World Cup winner met fans at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. On December 15, the footballer will welcome fans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, which will mark the fourth and final leg of his India visit. He is also expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his stay in the national capital.
