Mumbai Police has busted a huge drug racket involving many big names, including actors Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi and underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s nephew Alisha Parkar, among others. Reportedly run by Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh alias Lavish, the report revealed a network of high-profile parties in India and abroad.

According to news agency PTI, officials claimed that during interrogation, Salim alleged that he used to organize drug parties in the country and abroad, which were attended by gangster Dawood Ibrahim’s nephew Alisha Parkar as well as fashion and film celebrities.
According to India Today, the entire operation was run from Dubai, where Salim is based. His son, Taher Dowla – who was repatriated from the UAE in August – has reportedly shared crucial details with investigators. Documents accessed by the outlet alleged that Bollywood actors, models, rappers, filmmakers and even relatives of Dawood Ibrahim attended these parties.
Nora Fatehi took stand
Nora Fatehi is one of the first to speak amid the growing controversy. The singer-actor issued a strong personal statement. He wrote on Instagram Stories:
“FYI, I don’t go to parties.. I’m constantly on flights.. I’m a workaholic, I don’t have a personal life.. I don’t associate myself with people like that.. And on days off I’m on the beach in Dubai or at home with my high school friends! I spend my entire day and night working on my dreams and goals! Don’t believe everything you read! It sounds like my name is an easy target! But I won’t let it happen this time too, you guys tried to destroy me with lies and it didn’t work.. I watched silently as everyone tried their best to defame my name, tarnish my reputation and use me as clickbait! Please refrain from using my name and image on situations that have nothing to do with me, it will cost you dearly!” That his name is clearly mentioned among others in the remand copy.
More about Expose
“Further investigation of the said accused no. 05 has revealed that he is organizing drug parties in the country and abroad and supplying drugs to those parties,” the remand copy obtained by India Today TV reads. It also alleges, “The said accused has previously organized drug parties in the country and abroad with Alisha Parker, Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor and her brother Siddharth Kapoor, Zishan Siddiqui, Ori alias Orhaan, Abbas Mastan, Loca and many others and has himself joined them and has been supplying drugs to these and others.”
It is expected that the Mumbai Crime Branch will now call all the celebrities named in the case to record their statements. Neither Shraddha Kapoor nor her representatives have commented yet. As the investigation deepens, more information is awaited.
