Actress Nora Fatehi has condemned reports linking her name to a drug racket linked to Dawood Ibrahim, while calling herself an ‘easy target’.
actor Nora Fatehi has issued a strong rebuttal after her name was linked to drug and rave parties organized by a drug smuggler in Mumbai, which were allegedly attended by Dawood Ibrahim’s nephew. The actor took to Instagram Stories to call these reports ‘lies’ and said that he is an ‘easy target’.
Nora Fatehi condemned these news
On Sunday, Nora shared a note on her Instagram Stories, where she emphasizes that she does not attend parties. “I don’t go to parties.. I’m constantly on flights.. I’m busy with work, I don’t have a personal life.. I don’t associate myself with people like that. And on days off I’m at the beach in Dubai or at home with my high school friends! I spend my entire day and night working on my dreams and goals!”
The actor advised fans not to believe whatever is being reported. “Don’t believe everything you read! It seems like my name is an easy target! But I won’t let that happen this time! It happened once before, you guys tried to destroy me by telling lies, and it didn’t work. I watched silently as everyone tried their best to malign my name, tarnish my reputation, and use me as clickbait!”

Nora ended her note with a request that her name and image not be used with related news. “Please refrain from using my name and image on situations that have nothing to do with me! There will be a heavy, heavy price to pay for this!”
What is the controversy?
The statement was in response to media reports which claimed that Nora, Shraddha Kapoor and other Bollywood celebs had allegedly attended rave parties organized by detained drug smuggler, alias Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh. He had told the Mumbai Police that he had organized these rallies for Bollywood and fashion celebs and the underworld don had also participated in them. Dawood Ibrahim’s nephew Alishah Parkar.
Sheikh was deported from Dubai last month and is currently in the custody of the Ghatkopar unit of the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC). ANC officials have not ruled out the possibility of questioning the celebrities named by Sheikh in his confession.
