Top 10 Colleges of Delhi University(DU) as per NIRF Ranking 2024:
Hindu College:
Hindu College, which ranked first in NIRF 2024, is renowned for its academic brilliance and dynamic campus life and offers a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. It has topped the list with a score of 74.47 after coming second last year with a score of 72.39. The college performed well in the Governance and Outreach (GO) measure, scoring 90.57 points and Perception, scoring 95.21 points.
Miranda House:
Miranda House, which came in second, is one of India’s leading women’s institutions, known for its emphasis on liberal arts and sciences. This year’s score was 73.22, while last year’s score was 74.81. Interestingly, Miranda House has topped the list for the last three consecutive years since 2017.
St. Stephen’s College:
Coming in third place is St Stephen’s, one of the oldest and most prominent colleges of Delhi University, known for its rich history and notable graduates. It got an excellent score of 72.97 in the NIRF 2024 rankings, but in 2023 it was ranked 14th on the list with a score of 67.83.
Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College:
Ranked fifth, the college is known for its academic rigor and commitment to comprehensive education, offering a variety of degrees in arts, business, and sciences. Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College got 72.59 points in the NIRF 2024 ranking, up from 6th place last year with 70.78 points.
Kirori Mal College:
Kirori Mal College has retained its ninth ranking from last year. It is popular for its vibrant campus and emphasis on extracurricular activities apart from its academic programs. This year, the college got 69.86 points in the NIRF 2024 ranking list, which is the same as last year’s score of 69.32.
Lady Shri Ram College for Women:
Ranked 10th is Lady Shri Ram College, a premier women’s college known for its strong academic standards and active involvement in social work. It secured the 9th position in the NIRF 2023 rankings with a score of 69.32, indicating strong performance across multiple parameters. This year it got a score of 69.49.
His Raj College:
Hans Raj College, ranked 12th, is a renowned college that offers a wide range of courses with a focus on research and innovation. This is the third consecutive year that the college has been ranked among the top 50 in the country. This prestigious college has got 68.76 points in the NIRF 2024 ranking and 68.42 points in 2023.
Deshbandhu College:
Deshbandhu College in Delhi ranked 16th in the NIRF 2024 rankings with a score of 66.03. Last year, it was ranked lower with a score of 65.22. Deshbandhu College is known for its dedicated teachers and well-rounded academic offerings that serve a diverse student body.
Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC):
Ranked 18th, the college is renowned for its science programs and research-oriented education, which promotes a culture of scientific inquiry. It also got a score of 64.73 in the ranking list this year. NIRF ranked ANDC 21st in 2023 with a score of 63.85.
Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC):
SRCC, ranked 19th, is a premier commerce institute in India, known for its rigorous curriculum and excellent business connections. It scored almost equal to Acharya Narendra Dev College, 64.56. Last year, it was ranked 11th in the NIRF list with a score of 68.86.
