No NEET-UG candidate has scored more than 682 marks in the revised results of a centre in Haryana. The centre had come under scrutiny after six candidates who took the medical entrance exam there on May 5 scored 720 out of 720 marks. NEET UG Result Live Updates
The marks were revised after the Supreme Court ordered a re-examination following allegations of inflation of marks due to grant of grace marks.
According to the centre and city-wise results declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday, only 13 candidates from the Hardayal Public School centre in Jhajjar, Haryana managed to score more than 600 marks.
The NEET-UG exam was held on May 5 at 4,750 centres and around 24 lakh candidates appeared for it.
The results were expected to be declared on June 14, but were announced on June 4, with the NTA saying that the evaluation of answer sheets had already been completed.
67 students scored 720 marks, unprecedented in the history of the testing agency, including six from a centre in Haryana. This raised suspicions about irregularities.
It is alleged that 67 students got top ranks due to grace marks.
