NEET-OG 2025: The petitioner’s counsel argued that three questions were wrong, citing two experts supporting the claim.

On Friday, the Supreme Court refused to hear a petition that the NEET-UG 2025 examination had “serious errors” in three questions.
A bench of Justice PS Narasimha and Chandurkar advised the petitioner’s counsel to go to the relevant High Court.
The National Testing Agency, both national and private institutions operate the National Eligibility cum Entrance-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) for admission to MBBS, BDS, Ayush and other related courses.
The petitioner’s counsel argued that three questions were wrong, citing two experts supporting the claim. He said that these questions impressed the petitioner’s score with 13 points.
The petitioner’s counsel argued, “These (three) questions were absolutely wrong. I have taken two experts opinions and those experts have also agreed with my views. They have certified my views.”
The bench said that the examination was already over.
“You withdraw it and go to the High Court,” the bench suggested, the petitioner did not insist on denying any measures. The lawyer requested that the Supreme Court appointed a panel of experts to review questions within three days and consider their opinion.
After expressing reluctance to entertain the petition, the petitioner’s counsel decided to withdraw it.
On July 4, the Supreme Court also refused to entertain a separate petition challenging the NEET-OG 2025 results due to the alleged error in a question.

Meanwhile, the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has increased NEET UG 2025 Round 1 Consultation registration Till 3 August. They can apply by visiting the official website on the characters and interest mccc.nic.in. The seat allocation list will be announced on 6 August.
The official notice stated, “In the context of several requests from PWBD candidates, which are still in the process of obtaining certificates from designated disability centers, the competent authority has decided to expand the schedule of Round -1 of UG Consultation 2025.”
