In 2024, the registration process for NEET UG started from 9 February 2024 and the date of closing increased from 9 March to 16 March 2024.

NEET exam pattern to return to pre-covid format
Information Medical aspirants Regarding the revised paper format for NEET-oug 2025, NTA issued a notification last week stating that there would be no section in the new paper format. According to the notification, the question paper pattern and the duration of the examination will return in the pre-coved format. There was no section B in the pre-covid format, moreover, the total duration of the examination would be 180 minutes.
Question paper pattern explained
1) There will be a total of 180 compulsory questions
2) 45 questions each in physics and chemistry
3) 90 questions asked by biology
4) The provision for temporarily introduced alternative questions during the Kovid -19 epidemic will no longer be available.
5) The total duration of the exam will be 180 minutes (3 hours)
Earlier, the NTA informed that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2025 (NEET UG) 2025 will be held in pen and paper mode ((OMR-based) in the same day and single innings. NTA also mentioned that Apa ID NEET UG 2025 was not mandatory for registration.
