NEET and 2025: After marking the claims of about 1,500 suspected NEET-UG paper leaks of the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday, the candidates advised to be vigilant against rumors and misleading information about the medical entrance examination.
Citing the prevention of the inappropriate means act, the NTA warned that “anyone was found guilty of adopting improper means or facilitating,” will have to face “strict punishment”. NTA advisor comes a day before NEET and 2025 Examination, which will be held on Sunday, May 4 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
More than 22.7 lakh students have registered NEET and 2025 Examination, which will be held in 5,453 centers in India and 13 cities abroad.
NTA fake telegram, cracks on Instagram channels
Thursday, May 1, NTA More than 165 telegram channels and more than 32 Instagram accounts were identified for allegedly spreading misinformation about NEET UG exam. Agency initiated action on channels claiming access to NEET (UG) 2025 question paper, reported PTI,
PTI quoted a source as saying, “Acting on the input received through the recently launched claims of the portal, the NTA has identified 106 telegrams and 16 instagram channels that are engaged in stretching misinformation and misleading students.”
The NTA requested Telegram and Instagram to immediately take down the flagcised channels to prevent the spread of lies and unnecessary nervousness between aspirations.

The NTA urged all NEET (UG) candidates and their parents to be vigilant and did not hunt for individuals or groups who want to manipulate or mislead them.
“Students are advised to rely on official communication only from the NTA website and avoid engaging with unacceptable sources or middlemen to influence the examination or admission process. Unscrupulous elements prepared to work wrongly to try to exploit students. NTA said in its advice.
