In a statement issued on Sunday, the agency said that wrong question papers were distributed at an examination center in Rajasthan’s Sawai Madhopur area.

“During the NEET-UG examination, it came to notice that in one of the examination centres, Girls Higher Secondary Model School, Mantown, Sawai Madhopur, there was an incident of mis-distribution of question papers by the center superintendent. Despite efforts by invigilators to stop it, some candidates left the exam center with question papers, NTA senior director Sadhna Parashar said in a statement.

“To maintain the principles of fairness and level playing field for all candidates, NTA has taken proactive steps. “The examinations of around 120 affected candidates are being conducted today at the centre, ensuring that their educational aspirations are not disrupted by this incident,” she said.

The agency described it as an “isolated incident” and stressed that it did not compromise the integrity of the examination process at other centres.

“To maintain the principles of fairness and level playing field for all candidates, NTA has taken proactive steps. NTA reaffirms its commitment to conduct the examination with transparency, integrity and fairness,” it said.
