NEET UG 2024 Controversy Live Updates: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has taken over the investigation of five new cases of alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG 2024 exam. The agency had taken over Gujarat and Bihar on Sunday and now it has taken over cases in Maharashtra and Rajasthan as well. CBI officials said that the agency has re-registered one case each from Gujarat, Bihar Maharashtra and three from Rajasthan. The CBI is now investigating six cases of alleged irregularities in NEET-UG.
Meanwhile, on Monday, the new NTA DG Pradeep Singh Kharola held a meeting with officials of the agency. A seven-member panel constituted by the Ministry of Education, headed by former ISRO chief K Radhakrishnan, also held a meeting on Monday evening to review the existing processes and functioning of the NTA. On the other hand, 813 students appeared for the NEET UG 2024 re-exam on June 23 and are now awaiting their results, which will likely be released on June 30.
