The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has introduced special modules on Operation Sindoor for students of class 3 to 12.

Module Operation describes Sindoor as “a victory of bravery, strategy and innovation”, which highlights the advanced air defense systems of India such as S -400, which successfully brought enemy aircraft below long borders and neutralized Pakistani drones.

The newly introduced modules also highlight counterparts by Indian military forces, including Balakot air strike after the Pulwama terror attack in 2019, and recently, Operation Sindoor after the Pahgam terror attack.

“India launched missiles and airstrikes on 7 May 2025, targeting the naval terrorist sites located in Pakistan and Pak-Quiz Jammu and Kashmir.

Operation vermilion

The Indian Army was tied as the biggest and deep strike ever, ‘Operation Sindoor,’ Launched in the hours of May 7, the first joint operation after the 1971 war marking.

All three defense branches-Sena, Navy and Air Force coordinated to fulfill the attacks on Pakistan to eliminate the Jaish-e-Muhammad and Lashkar leadership.
