The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences has reduced the qualifying percentage for NEET SS (Super Specical) street vacancy rounds. This change advises candidates to get a valid comprehensive feature degree to participate in the stray vacancy round of counseling. The Medical Authority announced the NEET SS 2024 results on 25 April. The examination held on 29 and 30 March included three time-bound section for the first time.

According to an official statement by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW), all the candidates who appeared with a valid MD/MS/DNB degree for the NEET SS 2024 exam, are now eligible to participate in the stray vacancy tension regardless of their original qualifying percentage. However, the Medical Authority confirmed that the group-specific rank declared for question papers is unchanged.

Meanwhile, MCC has postponed the stray round of NEET SS counseling for Tamil Nadu’s in-service candidates with Tamil Nadu’s Round 2 counseling. Additionally, MCC has confirmed that candidates who got seats through the National Intelligence Super Specialty (INI-SS) Counseling Institute of National Intensants may resign from NEET SS 2025; However, their security deposit will be confiscated.
