Must visit Valmiki Tiger Reserve, Orchha, Hampi: Pankaj Tripathi

Valmiki Nagar Tiger Reserve in Bihar is in the foothills of the Himalayas and is extremely beautiful. Orchha, near Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh, is also not on most lists. And when you go to Hampi (Karnataka), it feels as if you have reached another era. You may ask yourself, ‘Am I on a film set?’ How can such a place exist in 2024?’
Habalikhati beach for its bioluminescence: Nimrat Kaur

One of the most beautiful beaches in India, and one that I have been wanting to visit for a long time, is Habalikhati beach in Odisha. Its unique feature is that it glows at night due to bioluminescence (night glow-light emitted by insects and deep-sea fish).
Enjoy sunset with djembe in Pushkar: Kubbra Sait

What inspired me to sing about this quaint little Rajasthani town was its Israeli settlement: long, bustling streets with Jewish food and places with menus in Hebrew. In the evening, people gather and celebrate the sunset with djembe (a West African drum) and dancing in joy. It’s a fun ride, getting to see something within India and yet have a completely different experience.
Tarkarli has been on my bucket list for a long time: Mithila Palkar

I definitely want to visit the Konkan belt, especially Tarkarli (Maharashtra), as I briefly considered learning scuba-diving. Since I am also a foodie, I am looking forward to enjoying Malvani cuisine and shopping for kokum and cashew nuts.
I treasure places like Nagarhole: Dino Morea

We have some of the most beautiful forests in India. I remember visiting Nagarhole Forest Reserve (Karnataka) in my childhood. The unexplored forest here is a place I treasure. Be it Mudumalai, Bandipur (tiger reserve) or other forests leading up to the Tamil Nadu border, these unknown forests are amazing.
Those who love wildlife must visit Satpura: Kritika Kamra

Madhya Pradesh has not got as high a rating as it should have. The Pachmarhi-Satpura region has unique flora and fauna unique to Central India. There are easy trek trails, teak forests, cascading waterfalls, sandy river banks and on safari you may even spot tigers.
