President Draupadi Murmu on Friday presented the National Teacher Awards to 45 teachers across the country, which recognizes their outstanding contribution in teaching and learning. The award winners were honored at the annual ceremony for their novel teaching methods, dedication to student development, and efforts to improve learning results in challenging environment.
From new teaching techniques to motivating the learners of the first generation, the award winners have greatly influenced the young minds across India.

M. Devnanada Kumar, Dr. Lacked Honeymaddi Government College, Maylavaram, is the faculty of Telugu in Andhra Pradesh, who has received awards for his innovative teaching practices. His citation reads, “His work includes making Thalpatra Granthus (Palm-Life Manuscripts), making educational videos for LMS and earning reputed appreciation for his contribution to education.”
At the Rajiv Gandhi Central University, Arunachal Pradesh, Psychology Faculty, Prosento Ker Saha has been recognized for his expertise in forensic psychology and neurocycology with more than 14 years of educational service. “He established a neurocycaology lab, developed intervention training module, led major research projects, and increased psychological support to child abuse victims, which reflects their commitment to both educational excellence and social impact,” a citation.

Vibha Sharma, an English professor at Aligarh Muslim University, has been accepted for his innovative and interactive teaching methods that mix theater’s study with Indian knowledge systems. “A skilled playwright and actor, he has developed MOOCS, has led Gian courses, advised students in theater practice, and contributed as a national level resource person, who expands his outreach for learners across India, especially deprived,” reads “citation.
S. Shiv Satya, professor of computer science at the University of Pondicherry, has been recognized for more than 25 years in higher education through course design, mentorship and experienced learning. “Their research is a female safety app, with innovations like AI and social influence, Mitra, who earned him” Nari Shakti Puruskar “from the honorable President of India.
