Farmers also bought and took away more than 177 tractors. People made the biggest investment in the automobile sector alone. Similarly, on the day of Dhanteras, 45 people got their property registered.
People bought gold in large quantities
This time, despite the rate of 22 carat gold being higher by Rs 19,590 per ton compared to the previous Dhanteras, people also bought gold jewelery extensively. There was uncertainty in the bullion market throughout the day. There is also a tradition of buying utensils on Dhanteras. There was hustle and bustle of buyers at the utensils shops from morning till late night.
Automobile businessman Kapil Shriwas told that on Dhanteras, the most expensive bike Harley-Davidson was sold for Rs 3 lakh 29 thousand, in which a festival offer of Rs 15 thousand was given. Virendra Patel told that this time it was difficult to even supply the small model tractors. After selling 177 tractors, farmers have made even more bookings this time. Bullion trader Rohit Soni said that on Dhanteras, people bought more silver utensils for worshiping items. Apart from this, there was demand for latest design lightweight ear tops, rings, bracelets, earrings, gold and silver coins, dry foot plates.
