MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune offers BA/B.Sc. Has started. (Hons./Hons. with Research) with Liberal Arts Pedagogy program where students are exposed to over 100 major-minor combinations under the humanities, social sciences, and behavioral sciences. It is designed as a flexible, interdisciplinary undergraduate program across India, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Students have the flexibility to personalize their academic pathways by choosing within and across thematic baskets including counseling psychology, forensic psychology, business psychology, literary and communication studies, foreign languages, filmmaking, digital humanities, public policy, economics, international relations, sociology, criminology and psychology, with specializations in cognitive neuroscience. This, in turn, enables its students to pursue combinations such as psychology and data analytics, public policy and forensic psychology, literary and communication studies and criminology, helping to prepare future graduates with skills relevant to multiple fields rather than a single discipline.
A highlight of the program is the introduction of the Bachelor of Science (BSc) track within the Liberal Arts, available to students choosing Business Psychology as their major. This option integrates behavioral science with quantitative research and applied business curriculum, preparing students for emerging roles in organizational psychology, human resource analysis, behavior consulting, employee experience design, performance optimization, and workplace research. The university notes that this bridge between scientific inquiry and liberal arts thinking responds to industry demand for data-literate behavioral science professionals.

The program architecture implements the multiple entry-exit flexibilities of NEP 2020. This also includes Honors with Research options for students wishing to pursue postgraduate research/MPhil equivalency/International Master and PhD pathways.
Experiential learning is a core component of the programme. Students participate in rural, national and international immersion programs, industrial visits, study tours, research projects, semester-abroad opportunities and trekking activities. Internship and placement opportunities with organizations such as Teach for India, I-PAC, Principal Global Investors, Mansa Clinic, NGOs, think tanks, analytics firms and creative studios; Help learners be reflective and ensure skills extend beyond the classroom to resilience, empathy, communication and real-world adaptability.
