Mirai Box Office Collection Day 5: Karthik Gattamaneni’s action fantasy film, Mirai, has been doing well at the box office since its release for a good response on 12 September. The film starring Teja Sajj, Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak and Shriya Saran has succeeded in making a hold during the week. According to Sacnilk, Mirai made 55 crore network in India in five days.

Trade website reports that Meera collected an estimated 4.82 crore pure in India on Tuesday, took its total domestic collection 55.82 crore pure. The film was inaugurated 13 crores, and it increased only during the weekend, brought inside 15 crores and 16.6 crores in the weekend. While the film saw the expected dip of 61% on Monday, it was still managed to collect a civilized day, given that it was a week’s day. 6.4 crores. The film has done better in Telugu so far, followed by Hindi, compared to other South Indian languages. It remains to be seen how much Mirai collects by the end of the week.

Mirai is directed by Karthik and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad of People’s Media Factory. It tells the story of a young man named Ved (Teja), who is called to fulfill his fate in facing against Mahabir Lama, aka Kali Talwar (Manoj). Mahabir wants to gain power and seeks nine Grands (lessons) left behind by Emperor Ashoka. The Ved seeks a weapon called Mirai, used by Lord Rama to stop it too late.
