The Ministry of Women and Child Development is presenting Rs 20,000 in Delhi and 2 months payment internship for women from rural and non-level I cities with hostel facility.
MWCD launched the payment internship for rural women with Rs 20,000, applied till 10 July.
The Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) has announced its 2025 internship program, especially designed for women students, teachers, social workers and researchers-especially non-level I from cities and rural India.
It provides two months of payment experience on hand with the ongoing work and projects of the Ministry of Internship, which leads to the risk of the initiative of real -world policy implementation and development of real -world focus on women and children.
Internship purpose
The purpose of the internship is to introduce the selected women to the ministry’s major programs and policy framework. The intern will have the opportunity to work on micro-study related to pilot projects or main areas of meditation.
Beyond the professional risk, the initiative expects to motivate the participants to become advocates and changemakers in their own communities – raising awareness and contributing to interactions about gender and child welfare at both local and national levels.
Who can apply?
The internship is particularly open to female applicants who meet one of the following criteria:
Currently admitted to an educational institution
Is connected to non-educational or research institutes
Ground level level social work or education is engaged in education
Importantly, the applicants should be from non-level I cities or rural areas. This program especially targets women who reduce women to broaden access to central government opportunities.

Selection process
Candidates will be selected by a special selection committee established by the Ministry. Once finalized, the list of selected applicants will be published under the ‘Download’ section of the Ministry’s Internship Portal.
Comment: Once selected individuals will not be allowed to re -apply in future versions of the program.
Wazifa, Travel and Housing
The selected intern will get a monthly stipend of Rs 20,000.
Other than this:
Travel reimbursement (for AC 3-Tier Train or Deluxe/AC bus travel for Delhi) will be provided.
Hostel housing in Delhi will be arranged on triple-sharing basis, including basic features such as beds (no mattresses), tables, cupboards and enclosed bathrooms.
