MG Motor India has launched the 2026 Hector and Hector Plus facelifts with minor design updates, with prices ranging from ₹11.99 lakh to ₹19.49 lakh.
MG Motor India has launched the 2026 MG Hector and Hector Plus facelift in the Indian market, which is the third update of the SUV since its debut in 2019. This latest revision is a mild refresh aimed at keeping the model range competitive rather than a major overhaul.
What are the changes in Hector and Hector Plus?
Changes in the 2026 Hector facelift are limited to cosmetic updates. MG has introduced a revised front grille, new alloy wheel design and subtly reworked front and rear bumpers. Additionally, the SUV gets two new exterior color options along with refreshed upholstery options inside the cabin. The overall silhouette and dimensions remain unchanged.

No mechanical changes for 2026 update
Mechanically, MG has retained the existing powertrain lineup. The Hector and Hector Plus will continue to be offered with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel engine. The petrol unit produces 141 hp and 250 Nm of torque and is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic. The diesel engine produces 167 hp and 350 Nm of torque and is exclusively paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The five-seat Hector is offered in several trims, while the three-row Hector Plus continues to cater to buyers looking for a 6- or 7-seat configuration. Prices vary depending on engine and transmission options, with the petrol CVT being premium compared to the manual variant.
