Karva Chauth 2025: Parineeti Chopra also shared pictures of her juttis, which had her and Raghav Chadha’s initials and wedding date designed on them.
Karwa Chauth 2025: Actress Parineeti Chopra, who is pregnant with her first child, made sure to celebrate Karva Chauth with husband Raghav Chadha while keeping all the traditions alive. The actor shared a heartfelt post on the special day, where she was seen performing Karwa Chauth rituals after gazing at the moon. What’s more, there was also a special shoe for Parineeti that day, which had their initials and their wedding date engraved on it. Parineeti’s Karwa Chauth
In the first picture, Parineeti was seen standing in front of Raghav with a sieve – which was used during the moon sighting ritual. There was a lamp placed on it and Parineeti saw Raghav’s face through Channi and smiled. Raghav held the plate and smiled. In another picture, both Parineeti and Raghav were sitting and having a candid moment. In the last picture, Parineeti’s jutti can be seen closely, which has been specially designed for this occasion. The date of their marriage – 24.09.2023 – was designed on it, with P and R written on it.
In the caption, Parineeti wrote, “My moon-my love🌛✅ Happy Karva Chauth!”
About Karwa Chauth
Karva Chauth, celebrated by married Hindu women especially in North India, is on October 10 this year. On this day, women pray for the long life and prosperity of their husbands and observe Nirjala Vrat (fast without water) from sunrise to moonrise. They dress in beautiful traditional attire (often red), wear heavy jewelery and apply henna on their hands.
After dating for several years, Parineeti and Raghav tied the knot on 24 September 2023. The two had a private wedding at The Leela Palace, Udaipur, Rajasthan. Parineeti’s aunt and Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra attended the wedding. Arvind Kejriwal, Aditya Thackeray, Bhagwant Mann, Manish Malhotra, Harbhajan Singh and Sania Mirza also participated in it.
In August, Parineeti and Raghav announced on Instagram that they are expecting their first child.
