Matthew Perry’s former partner has questioned the ketamine death theory surrounding the Friends star, revealing that Perry was terrified of needles and vowed never to use them. The revelation contradicts the official cause of death, which states he was injected with ketamine at least 21 times in his final week. The former partner, who remained Perry’s friend until his passing, also questioned why no “drugs or paraphernalia” was found at the scene.

“It’s weird to me… Matthew always told me he would never use a needle or inject anything into his body. “I would often see him very intoxicated and using a lot of different drugs. I was always very scared, and would tell him he needed to stop mixing it all, and say ‘You’re going to die,'” said Edwards, who dated Perry in 2006 and then worked as his assistant in 2011. “But he was like … ‘You only die if you use needles … and I would never do that, never, never,'” she said.

Matthew Perry’s ex-partner suspects ketamine poisoning in his death
Authorities have recently made several arrests in the ongoing investigation into Matthew Perry’s death. Those detained include two doctors, a drug dealer, Perry’s former assistant, and another man who allegedly supplied drugs to Iwamasa before Perry’s death. Authorities say Perry’s assistant administered the lethal injection of ketamine, which led to the actor’s tragic death. This news has really shocked Perry’s former partner.

In her statement to the U.K.-based publication, she said, “When I heard that he let his assistant do this, I couldn’t understand it, especially because she had no medical training.” Edwards and Perry, despite their romantic breakup, remain friends. Perry, 47, has been vocal about the investigation into the case.
Where did the evidence go?
Continuing, the TV star’s former assistant questioned, “If you had given him a big injection, there would have been a needle of ketamine and proof in the house. Where did it all go? Why did the assistant give him so many drugs and then leave?”
Earlier, Iwamasa, who had been working for the actor for two decades, pleaded guilty to injecting him with a lethal dose and now faces 15 years in prison. Two others have also pleaded guilty. However, two prime suspects, Dr. Salvador Plascencia and “Ketamine Queen” Jasveen Sangha, have pleaded not guilty and are yet to appear in court.
