Maruti Suzuki E Vitara will be the first electric vehicle from the brand.
Maruti Suzuki e Witara, shown in its production-taiar avatar at Auto Expo 2025, is likely to be launched in May 2025. While the car manufacturer has officially not disclosed any specific time limit, some dealerships have begun to accept EV’s booking, pointing to an adjacent launch.
On launch, Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will challenge difficult rivals including Hyundai buyer Electric and Tata Nexon EV among others. Maruti Suzuki E Vitara will be sold through OEM’s premium retail network Nexa, which also sells models such as Baleno, Fronx, Jimmy etc. E vitara will be available with two battery pack options and three trim options, which are delta, zeta and alpha.

Maruti Suzuki has revealed that despite late entering space, OEM E Vitara has a big banking to become a segment-municipal player. The automekar E Vitara is focusing a major focus on developing a strong charging network for customers, which may be a useful strategy to increase EV’s demand and sales. With E Vitara, Maruti Suzuki is taking a top-down approach to the Indian electric car market, a strategy already taken by Mahindra.

Maruti Suzuki E Vitara will be the first car of the brand to come with a level 2 Adas, while other features will include a fully digital instrument cluster, and some other high-end features consist of a panoramic glass roof, automatic climate control, wireless charger, ambient lighting, auto-dimming IRVM, a 3600-degree. Vigilant seat, power-adjustable seat, power-adjust seven airbags.
Maruti Suzuki E Vitara will get front wheel drive configuration. The battery pack option will depend on the variant. The Delta variant will get a 48.8 kwh battery pack, while the Zeta and Alpha variants will have a 61.1 kwh pack. All three variants will come with 7 kW AC charging and 70 kW DC fast charging capacity.
