“First of all, I start by washing my face. Now, I only wash my face with water. I don’t really use cleanser in the morning because I feel it is a bit harsh for my skin. My skin is mostly dry,” Manushi told. She shared that she believes in letting the natural oils produced overnight give her skin a healthy glow. “Remember to pat your face dry, don’t rub. I used to rub my face, and my mom would say, ‘What are you doing to your skin?'”

Next comes one of her favorite steps: “I really use a honey mask in the morning. Sometimes I wash my face with honey, but today we’re doing a mask because we have a few extra minutes. Honey is great for hydration and shine. Normally I rub it on and rinse off quickly, but today I’m leaving it on a little longer.”

While her mask works its magic, Manushi makes her morning drink: hydrogenated water. “It’s the first thing I consume every morning. My father introduced me to it. It has anti-inflammatory properties, it’s a great antioxidant and ever since I started drinking it, I’ve noticed an increase in energy,” she said.

She applies a light layer of hydration before hitting the gym. “I use ozonated glycerin, which my father introduced me to. It’s super hydrating, non-comedogenic, and works for both acne-prone and dry skin. I don’t like heavy skin care before a workout.”

Manushi also shared her unique morning drink: “I start with malic and ascorbic acid, fun fact, most people think citric acid is vitamin C, but it’s actually ascorbic acid. I add a little potassium chloride, iodine, and methylene blue as prescribed by my doctor. I’ve noticed subtle changes in my energy, skin, and inflammation. These little things really do matter.”

His pre-workout meal is simple and nutritious. “Most people expect something fancy, but it’s literally a little dal, rice and ghee. It gives me the right amount of complex carbs and fats before a workout without affecting my weight.”

After her workout and breakfast, Manushi focuses on skin care: “I start with moisturizer. There’s something very therapeutic about it, it’s like massaging your face, thinking about life and focusing on your breathing. Next comes eye cream and sunscreen, which is a very important step. I became routine with sunscreen in college. Back in school, I didn’t take care of my skin at all.”
