The Mahindra XEV 9E, the new major vehicle of the automaker, was launched in November 2024. While only base variants were announced in November, the entire price list of XEV 9E was ruled out in February 2025. The XEV 9E is introduced at four trim levels – select one pack one, pack two, three and three packs.
Interestingly, all other variants are powered by 59 kwh battery packs, while the top of the line is powered by a pack three 79 kWh battery pack. Here’s a look that the pack contributes to the three version Pack 2.6 lakhs compared to three select versions.

Mahindra Xev 9E Pack Three Selected Features LED DRLS with a center signature lamp, sequential turn indicators and startup lighting sequences. A nayabhiram glass roof is also provided with a 19 -inch alloy wheels. Flush door handle, with auto tilt on auto-folding reverse outside the rearview mirror, is part of a power tailgate features with gesture control.

Mahindra XEV 9E pack Three select cabin with leathertte seat and steering trim -with leather -door and dashboard trim. The driver’s seat is a 6-way power adjustable with a 2-way manual wood. There is a ventilation facility in the next seats. There is an alternative dual zone climate control system, as well as a tonnu cover in the second line scholars and trunk. It also includes a promotional reality head-up display (HUD) and ambient light and carpet lights.
The vehicle has a Qualcomm 8295 Snapdragon processor and 24 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, 16-spicker Harman Cardon with audio system dolby atomos, and wireless charging of the phone for rear and front-seat-living. Other facilities are the major entry, auto-dimensing interior rearview mirror and one-touch driver’s power window.
In addition, it gets a camera for level 2 adas suite and increased driving security with five radar modules. Major driver assistance features include auto lane change, lane keep assist and front and rear cross-traffic alerts.
Mahindra XEV 9E Pack Three: Facilities
The top–line Mahindra XEV 9E pack adds a three-screen setup to the three that captures a large part of the dashboard and makes the cabin feel a luxury. This setup connects a three 12.3-inch display operated by Mahindra’s adrenox software. It is equipped with a touchscreen infotainment console and the instrument cluster of the driver.
The SUV also has a twin-spoke multifunction steering wheel, which has an enlightened logo. Other features include a wireless smartphone charging pads, 16-speaker audio systems, a panoramic glasseroff, automatic parking system, and an adas suit.

This is the place where the real difference appears. The Mahindra Xev 9E pack three select gets smaller in 59 kwh battery pack, while the top-of-the-line pack three is introduced with only 79 kwh battery pack. The 59 kwh battery pack provides a maximum power of 230 bhp and 380 Nm with a range of 542 km.
The electric SUV lives as a rear wheel drive vehicle and receives three modes of driving – range, everyday and race. There is also a boost mode and a pedel drive mode. On the other hand there is a range of 656 km with pack three variants, 285 bhp and torque of 380 Nm.

Mahindra Xev 9E Pack Three Selected vs Mahindra XEV 9E Pack Three: Price and Transmit
Mahindra XEV 9E range begins 21.90 lakhs. Select the pack three, which is the second in the top version 27.90 lakhs. Range-topping pack on three variants retail 30.50 lakhs. All prices are pre-showrooms. It renders the top version Pack 2.6 lakh more expensive than three select versions.
For additional costs, the top version has some additional luxury and features with more range and power output. In addition, even though the sale of Mahindra XEV 9E pack Three has already started from mid -March 2025, the pack will start selling three select versions from June 2025.
