Maharashtra SSC students were provided wrong English paper on Saturday to the students appearing in the board examination from Vimbai Deshmukh School Examination Center in Latur. 21 Urdu medium students got wrong question paper. Students were accidentally given the first language English (03) paper instead of English (17), a paper was not included in their course.
On feeling the error, upset students were designed to wait for three hours at the examination center, while corrective measures were taken. The major coal of the examination center blamed the incident for the inexperience of a new clerk in understanding the color code assigned to various question papers. Coal confirmed that the SSC board had been informed and a detailed report would be submitted.
Meanwhile, the principal of several schools including SA Jagirdar Secondary School, Maulana Azad High School, Siraj-Huloom Girls High School and Osmania Urdu High School has urged Ahmedpur Block Education Officer to take early action in response to the incident.
The Maharashtra SSC exam for 2025 has been scheduled from 21 February to 17 March 2025. The examination is being conducted in the traditional pen-end-paper format. Maharashtra SSC 2025 exam is being conducted in two shifts, starts from 11 am to 2 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm, with language paper.
In the Maharashtra Board SSC Results 2024, a total of 95.81 percent students approved the examination. Last year, out of 15,49,326 students who took the 10th exam, 14,84,431 successfully approved the test. The girls performed better than boys. The pass percentage among the girls was 97.21 percent and 94.56 percent of the boys who took the exam. Students are required to clean the board examination with at least 33 percent in each subject and promoted to the next class.
