The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has released the FYJC Round 2 Admission schedule. In the first round, more than five lakh candidates have confirmed admission in class 11. The second phase of admission will start from July 10.
According to the official notification, candidates can upgrade or edit their application process between 10 and 13 July. The second merit list for FYJC admission will be released on July 17, and candidates will have to confirm their allotted seats between 18 and 21 July. The list of vacant seats will be out on 23 July.

Officials said out of 5,08,096 candidates who confirmed their admission in the first round, 4,32,287 did this through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), while 75,809 won their seats through various quota such as minority, management and in-house. The first round of entry into the science stream was the highest number of admissions, a total of 2,35,506, followed by Arts Stream 1,17,447, and Commerce Stream with 79,334 confirmed the entry.
A total of 93.04 percent of the students approved the Maharashtra Board SSC exam. The girls once again improved the boys. The pass percentage among girls was 96.14 percent while it was 92.31 percent among boys. Konkan Division again won the best performing district title. In 2024, Maharashtra SSC results were announced on 27 May. Overall, the pass percentage was 95.81 percent. Last year, the pass percentage among girls was 97.21 percent and 94.56 percent. In 2023, the pass percentage among girls was 95.87 percent.
