Difference between plant protein and whey protein
In the caption, he wrote, “Personally, I stick to planting protein since lactose being intolerant. It works well for my body and supports my fitness goals. But when it comes to protein, there is no one-flax.
In the video, Dr. Nene broke the difference between whey and plant protein, saying, “In the case of whey, it is rapidly absorbed. But those who are lactose intolerant, it can cause inflammation and other issues because they use ultra-refin, which are still present.”
He also shares his ideas on plant protein, explaining, “Plant protein can fit most vegetarian foods and can be mixed in food. Whey, on the other hand, is ideal for quick post-workout recovery as it absorbs rapidly.”
What is the right choice?
Dr. According to the Nene, “If you are lactose intolerant or vegetarian, plant protein can be the best. But, if you are aiming for rapid muscle recovery and you are neither vegetarian nor lactose intolerant, whey protein is better option because it absorbs quickly.”
He wraps by adding it, “In general, however, keep in mind that there is no one-shaped-fit. Whether it is whey or plant protein, the best is what you are going to use really. So try both of them and see what works for you.”
