Nearly two months after their dramatic release, Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s Lvavpa landed on Gehotstar. The film is getting better reviews during its first run.
A ROM com about social media dangers and AI-Tech on modern romance, it is looking to marry happiness and Junaid as a young couple. However, they must first face the biggest challenge for their love … their smart phone. Her father opened her phone and large -scale secrets, putting her love in danger for each other. The film is a remake of Tamil film Love from 2022 today.
Response to loveyapa
After giving a watch to the film, people went on Twitter. Most appreciated the good message behind the film and called it ‘not bad at all’. One person wrote, “#Loveyapa is a good time. A bad PR can ruin everything, otherwise this film has nothing to troll both. “I like a little, like Loveyapa (unexpectedly),” said another. One person also said, “Just looked at Lvavapa! Well, the clock. If the lead actor was young Govinda-Karishma, who was like actors, it would still be a superhit today. IG original film ‘Love Today’ would be much better.”
Another viewer gave it 3.5 stars. “Alokapriya Rai, but #loveyapa was a fun to see, #Khushikapoor is definitely potential #Junaidkhan is a good actor, Khushi has got a good humor time, the film was a fun watch,” he wrote.
The actors also got some love. “Junaid Khan is actually good in Lvavapa,” a person wrote. Lvavapa Junaid and Khushi’s second film and first dramatic release. He previously acted in Maharaj and Archies respectively. “Just seen on #Jiohotstar #Loveyapa, I don’t know why this film was so negatively promoted, it is such a well -made film with a good message.
Still a couple was disappointed. “Today, love in Tamil was a brilliant film made … There was a fresh, reliable story that is completely echoed with today. They just took that good product and ran through the mill and produced a hatred called Lavavpa. Hek is this garbage?”
Another said, “Loveyapa on Hotstar is only 2 hours of advertisement of a plus phone. I thought of seeing it, but the first 5-7 minutes of this is just one plus this one plus. Brother I am not watching it anymore.”
HT review of Loveyapa reads, “Loveyapa wants to do a lot in its runtime- the commentary on gene-Z is being obsessed with their phone, online trolling, deepch, body shaming, AI. Crunchy, and until these two sort their trust issues, you want to close the wedding and stop this chain.”
Film collected 8.8 crores with its entire run.
