Lucknow people get happy, reach ‘Venice of the East’ in 115 minutes, this is the entire schedule

Lucknow Airport: Good news has come for the people of Lucknow. Just before the summer holidays, Lucknow has been added to the ‘Venice’ direct flight. Now in just 115 minutes, you can complete your journey between your city Lucknow from ‘Benis of East’. From March 30, this flight has started movement from Lucknow to this city daily.

Actually, a direct flight has been started between Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow from Srinagar. With the commencement of this flight, Srinagar has become the 33rd destination of Lucknow Airport. IndiGo Airlines will operate this flight. This flight will leave for Srinagar from Lucknow daily and will return from Srinagar to Lucknow the same evening. IndiGo has been deployed with 186 seats Airbus A320 for this flight.

It is worth mentioning that Srinagar is also called ‘Venice of East’. This new sector will be very convenient for those passengers who want to visit the beautiful litigants of Srinagar. This direct flight will give a chance to travel without stopping from Lucknow to Srinagar. CCSI Airport is continuously working to connect Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh with different cities of the country and the world and this new flight is a big step in that direction.

Flight schedule
• Lucknow to Srinagar: This fly will leave daily at 05:20 am and will reach at 07:15 am.
• Srinagar to Lucknow: The return flight will leave at 05:50 pm and reach Lucknow at 07:40 pm. This flight will be operated between Monday to Saturday.

These cities associated with Lucknow Airport
In the year 2024-25, many new destinations have been added to CCSI Airport. This includes domestic cities like Bhopal, Aligarh, Azamgarh, Chitrakoot, Moradabad, Shravasti, Bhubaneswar, Jharsuguda and Mopa (North Goa). Apart from this, a new flight has also been launched for international cities like Ras Al Khemah, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. The number of flights for Muscat and Dammam has been increased. This year, a new airline from the airport, Air Asia Malaysia has started its operations.

136 flights are under operation
Currently, 136 flights are being operated from CCSI Airport and on an average 20,500 passengers are moving every day. In the first nine months of 2024-25, 5.21 million (more than 52 lakh) passengers have traveled from this airport. Along with this, around 39,000 air traffic movements were recorded, which is the biggest record ever. Traveling between Lucknow and Srinagar with a new flight will also make it easier and promote tourism.
