Chop these and mix well:
⦿ Pineapple 1 tbsp
⦿ Apple 1 tbsp
⦿ Guava 1 tbsp
⦿ Carrot 1 tbsp
⦿ Beetroot 1 tbsp
⦿ Pomegranate 1 tbsp
For dressing, mix:
⦿ Vinegar
⦿ Orange juice
⦿ Pinch of salt and black pepper
⦿ Black sesame seeds
⦿ White Sesame
Add dressing to fruits and vegetables. Garnish with chopped coriander. Plate the salad over chopped green and purple cabbage.

Kolkata-based general medicine physician Dr Amitabh Roy says salad aids digestion, making it an ideal recipe for clean eating. But what about Natasha Mohan’s recipe which she claims helped her client lose ‘2 kg in 5 days’?
They say salads are low in calories – which is perfect for weight loss. But Natasha’s salad includes a lot of fruits, which contain sugar. “Fruits are relatively high in sugar compared to other whole foods,” he says. However, they are still a healthy choice to include in your daily diet as whole fruits are packed with nutrients like vitamins, antioxidants and fiber.
Dr. Amitabh Roy believes in following a balanced, nutrient-rich diet to lose weight and fresh fruits are part of that. In fact, he recommends eating at least three to four fruits a day.
He adds, “But stop mixing all your fruits in one bowl of salad. Eat one fruit at a time. Different fruits do not mix well and are digested at different rates. Eating such salad can cause flatulence. Also, instead of blindly following this salad recipe, eat fruits that are in season.
Dr Kiran Soni, head of nutrition and health department, Yatharth Hospital, Greater Noida, had told HT Lifestyle in an earlier interview, “Weight loss will depend on the person’s current weight, height and metabolic rate. People who have more muscle , they may lose muscle mass.” “They gain weight faster than people who are obese and therefore have more fat.”
