Left studies midway for acting, FLOP hero compared to star, still did not get recognition, started doing this work

New Delhi. Some stars make their mark in Bollywood, some stars shine brightly but then fall down. Harman Baweja was one such Bollywood star. The actor entered films with Priyanka Chopra and as soon as its release, he started being compared to Hrithik Roshan. Still, Harman could not shine on the screen for long. Harman was born on 13 November 1980 in Chandigarh. The actor studied hotel management but filmy blood was running in his veins. Harman already belongs to a prestigious film family and cinema has been an integral part of his life since childhood.

Along with doing hotel management, he wanted to enter films and first of all he shared his heartfelt feelings with his maternal uncle that he also wanted to do acting. In an interview, Harman himself had revealed how difficult it was for him to talk to his father about working in films for the first time.

Harman told that I was doing hotel management but wanted to act in films. I talked to my uncle, talked to my mother. My mother supported me and said that it is your life, do whatever you want. Now I had to talk to father and I was scared and I had already discussed the entire conversation in my mind a month ago. I gathered courage and went to my father and he immediately said yes but his condition was that I had to complete my studies first.

Harman further told that I had left my studies of hotel management midway and then did filmmaking, after which I entered the world of acting, and both my parents had fully supported me. Harman’s first film was “Love Story 2050” with Priyanka Chopra. At that time, the concept of this film was very different, hence the film could not attract the audience much and remained average at the box office.

He was nominated in the Best Male Newcomer category for this film. In this film, the pairing of him and Priyanka was very much liked, and the news of their affair also started coming, and then both the stars were seen in the film ‘What’s Your Rashi’ in the year 2009. This film was a flop on the screen but the songs of the film were superhit. Along with trying his hand in films, Harman also produced the animation film ‘Chaar Sahibzaade’. He was seen in the series ‘Scoop’ of the year 2023.
