Realme’s upcoming smartphone Realme Neo 8 is once again in the news. According to the latest leak, this phone can be launched in China in January 2026. It is believed that this device will be the next version of Realme Neo 7, which was introduced by the company in December 2024. The special thing is that Realme Neo 8 can also be launched in India, but here this phone can come in the name of Realme GT 8.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav has claimed on social media platform X that Realme Neo 8 will be launched in China in January 2026. He also told that this smartphone can enter India and other global markets as Realme GT 8. It is worth noting that Realme GT 7 was launched in May 2025, so the launch of its successor can also happen around the same timeline.
What could be the specialty?
Talking about the specifications, Realme Neo 8 can get AMOLED screen as display, which will support 120Hz refresh rate. Previous reports also claimed that the phone will have a 6.78-inch flat LTPS display, which will have 1.5K resolution. Talking about the camera, a 50MP primary camera can be provided in its rear.
It is expected to have Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. With this, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage can be provided in the phone, due to which the performance is going to be very strong.
Battery can be the biggest feature of this phone. According to the leak, Realme Neo 8 can be provided with a large battery of 8,000mAh, which will support 80W fast charging.
Apart from this, the phone is also said to have in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, X-axis linear motor for better vibration, and latest Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 support. For safety, the phone can get IP68 rating, due to which it will be safe from water and dust.
At present, no official information has been revealed by the company regarding Realme Neo 8, but if the leaks prove to be true, then this phone can prove to be a powerful flagship killer of Realme in 2026.
