Dia Mirza became the showstopper on the second day of Lakme Fashion Week
Amit Hansraj of Inka dressed Dia Mirza in a co-ord black blouse and skirt set with a transparent black veil draped over her head and a train forming at the back. While the shirt has a collared neckline, front button closure, a knot detail at the hem, a gathered design and a relaxed silhouette, the floor-length skirt has a free-flowing silhouette. Finally, the veil has full length sleeves and floor length.
The accessory used to spruce up Dia Mirza’s look is a statement necklace adorned with emerald gemstones. Finally, she completed it with peep-toe pumps, mascara on the lids, minimal eye shadow, sleek eyeliner, rosy pink lip shade, rouge on the cheekbones and feathered brows. A sleek low bun adds a final elegant touch to the showstopper glam.
Meanwhile, Inca’s collection ‘celebrates the process of unlearning and relearning.’ The label’s co-ord sets are inspired by terrazzo flooring and Kantha stitches. “They destroy the purist definition of craft technique by leaving the threads loose,” FDCI said on Instagram. Finally, the silks and satins used for the new collection are crafted from rubber and sugarcane byproducts. “‘Love is a Verb’ transcends boundaries of gender and size to seamlessly adapt to the wearer, allowing them to simply be who they are,” FDCI said.
