Many stories of this city will now become just stories. The city of Gaza was a major city of Egypt in the 15th century BC. It was one of the five major cities of Palestinians in the 12th BC. The Palestinians built the temple of Dagon i.e. fish god here. Alexander Mahan camped the city at 332 BC. Won it.

Sometimes it was Gajjat i.e. valuable city
This city shining on the waves of the Mediterranean Sea was known as Cananite in ancient times i.e. the symbol of “Shakti”. It has been a witness to human civilization for more than 4000 years. Farao Tutmos III of ancient Egypt called it “Gajjat” i.e. valuable city, because it was the center of business routes. From here, spices, silk and ideas were exchanged, which enriched the cultural stream of the Middle East.

Athens of Asia
Palestinians made it their stronghold. Here he created iron weapons. The stories of warriors were knitted. When Alexander won it, it came to be called the “Athens of Asia” – a center where philosophy, art and diverse cultures were found. Now this city is being destroyed, but even after the destruction, the city goes again, it is being completely demolished, every sign of history is also being erased by the Israeli army.
A chapter in human history will be lost
The eradication of the name of this city means that not just one place but a chapter of human history will be lost forever. Many forts and temples were built here in 2000 BC. Egypt’s Farao Ramses II included it in his empire. Caravans of traders used to reach Mesopotamia from here. Many stories of the Bible were born here.

It became the center of Islamic law. Then became part of the Ottoman Empire. In the First World War, the British Army captured it. With the construction of Israel in 1948, Gaza Patti and Gaza city were born.
Museum of civilizations
There is truth in Laila’s talk. Gaza is not just a city of bricks and mortar. It is a museum of civilizations. The ancient mosque here, which was built in 1344, is now damaged by bombs. Perhaps it will also be given. The archaeological sites of the city such as oil al-mintar are now buried under the tanks. Their disappearance means the breakdown of the links of the business history of the Middle East.
