The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has initiated the registration process for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2025 today, August 29, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official Kea website on cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. The application form should be submitted online by 18 September, 2025, and the last date for payment of application fee is September 19, 2025.
The KSET 2025 exam will be held on November 2, 2025, with the admit cards issued on October 24, 2025. The exam will cover 33 subjects.
KSET 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have obtained minimum 55% marks in the master’s degree or to qualify an equivalent examination from universities or institutions recognized by UGC for KSET 2025. Such candidates will be provided provisionally admitted and to get the eligibility certificate, the KSET result will have to give proof of completing their master’s degree with the required percentage within two years from the date.
KSET 2025: Application Fee
According to the official notification, the application fee for KSET 2025 is Rs 1,000 for candidates of general category candidates. There is a need to pay Rs 700 to the candidates of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Disabled persons (PWD), and transgender candidates.

step 1. Go to the official website on cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.
step 2. Click on the KSET 2025 application link on the homepage.
step 3. Register yourself and fill the online application form.
step 4. Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.
Step 5. Submit the form and keep a printout of the filled form for future reference.
KSET 2025: Exam Pattern
The KSET exam consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I consist of compulsory questions of 50 objective-type of 100 marks, while Paper II has 100 objectives compulsory questions for a total of 200 marks. The candidates will mark their answers on the optical marks reader (OMR) sheet provided with the test booklet.
