Currently I am: shooting three films, managing early call times, gyms, workshops and airports.
High point in life: Watching my films, series and songs connects with people very deeply.
Low points in life: my early years. This was when I learned discipline, honed my craft and understood myself better.
In my playlist: Dil Pe Zakhm, by Jubin Nautiyal; Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding; By Natu Natu, Rahul Sipligunj and Kala Bhairav.
One thing I will never buy: anything showy just for validation.
Today I’m craving: Homemade rajma chawal.
The last thing I ordered online: a vintage-typewriter-style keyboard to type my character notes.
App I check before bed: My Notes app, where I write down my thoughts, ideas, dialogues, and dreams.
The advice I would give to my 18-year-old self: “I’m so proud of you. Keep moving forward with the same fire, everything will turn out beautifully.”
My favorite subject in school: English Literature.
I would swipe right: with a sense of honesty, peace.
My secret skill: I can switch between emotions instantly.
I wish I had a magical device: a device to stop time. Then I will exercise more, sleep more, and live more.
My favorite Sunday memory: Playing basketball for hours and coming home and eating my mom’s hot parathas. Sunshine, sweat, laughter – simple happiness!
My plans for next Sunday: either perfecting a new choreography or enjoying a slow morning with good music and coffee.
My most starstruck moment: I don’t get starstruck. I get more involved with someone’s work.
My favorite bad habit: Overworking.
If I could travel back or forth in time, I would: look forward to the movies I would make and the person I would grow into.
Best thing about fame: Being able to make people smile, even strangers. And getting a chance to tell meaningful stories.
The worst thing about fame: People assume they know every layer of you. I have learned to protect my peace.
