State-run Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) has launched an ambitious initiative to provide support and guidance to over 8,00,000 students of public schools to prepare for various undergraduate entrance exams.
KITE is the technology wing of the General Education Department of the Government of Kerala.
The program titled ‘Key to Admission’ was inaugurated by General Education Minister V Shivankutty here on Saturday. The main objective of the initiative is the state’s commitment to expand educational opportunities and support for students in science, humanities and commerce streams, an official statement said here on Sunday.

The dedicated portal for the initiative, www.entrance.kite.kerala.gov.in, provides free login facility to higher secondary and vocational higher secondary students of government and aided schools, giving them access to a wide range of learning materials including question papers. Gets access to. , assignments, and mock tests, it said.
All these resources will be available after the daily live classes, which will be telecast starting from September 30 on KITE VICTERS channel, as well as on two PM eVidya channels exclusively allocated for Kerala. Students who missed the live sessions can watch them later through the KITE YouTube channel.

The program will initially include a broad set of subjects including Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, History, Political Science, Business Studies, English and Geography, with plans to expand to additional subjects in the future.
The statement said each class will provide opportunities for self-assessment, helping students evaluate their progress and identify areas of improvement. Continuous assessment will be facilitated through online model examinations to ensure effective learning outcomes.
To ensure smooth implementation of the initiative, the Director of General Education (DGE) has issued instructions to all schools to provide necessary technical facilities to the students.
K Anwar Sadath, chief executive officer of KITE, said it is the largest public entrance examination training system in Kerala, reaching out to about 8 lakh students.
“We aim to replicate the success of last year’s Crack the Entrance Crash Course, which saw excellent participation and impressive results from students preparing for medical and engineering entrance exams,” he said.
