Kerala makes robotics education compulsory for all 4.3 lakh class 10 students from June 2, including hands-on activities such as circuit construction and AI-managed smart home system.

In a leading initiative, Kerala has emerged as the country’s first state to make robotics education compulsory for all 4.3 lakh students of class 10 starting from the upcoming academic year on 2 June.
An official statement stated that the integration of robotics in the ICT textbook of class X, especially in the sixth chapter, a sixth chapter called “The World of Robot”, will empower students to detect fundamental robotics concepts through attractive activities.
These include circuit constructions, using sensors and actuators, and controlling electronic devices using computer programming, CEO of Kate and CEO of ICT Textbook Committee Chairman, CEO.
The kite is the technical branch of the General Education Department of the Government of Kerala.
To ensure effective implementation of this course, 29,000 robotic kits have already been distributed in high schools across the state.
Sadath said, “This ambitious initiative is accessible to all seventh grade students in creating Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the prior success of Kerala, who was achieved for the first time in the last academic year,” Sadath said.
Demonstrating a constant commitment to future -prepared skills, AI Learning is now included in ICT textbooks for Grade 8, 9 and 10.
The statement stated that practical experience from the robotics course piloted for Little Kits (IT Club for Students of Kerala) has played an important role in shaping this broad rollout for all class 10 students.
The initial hand activity in the textbook challenges the use of components from the robot kits provided to students-as Arduino Breadboard, IR Sensor, Sarvo Motors, and Jumper wires-to build a automatic sanitiser dispenser that is active when it is active on a hand detection.
Moving forward, students will also be engrossed in creating AI-operated smart home automation systems, including face-richness-competent smart doors.
To make this convenient, they will use the ‘face detection built-in model’ within the programming IDE of Pictoblock Software, which take advantage of the webcam on the laptop and are supplied by kits to program dor-opening mechanism by kites.
The innovative robotics learning approach of the kite is designed to equip students with skills to address a wide range of practical problems through state -of -the -art technologies.
The kite has already conducted the first phase of training on the new class ICT textbook of the new Class X for 9,924 teachers.
Sadath said that the dedicated robotics training for teachers will be held in July.
In addition, the kite will ensure the availability of additional robot kits, after the state course -will provide support to all the schools without thinking, which may require them.
The ICT textbook is being provided to all students in Malayalam, English, Tamil and Kannada mediums, the official added to the statement.
