Katrina Kaif was not always a dancer, struggling with rhythm during her early career, recalled choreographer Terence Lewis given her significant improvement.
Actor Katrina Kaif has united herself as an excellent dancer in Bollywood, giving foot-tapping hits like Smooth Chamili, Sheela’s youth and Afghan Jalebi to keep some names from a long list. But do you know, Katrina was not a congenital dancer? Choreographer Terence Lewis recently said in an interview that the actor did not have a rhythm when he started in 2003, but did a miracle over his change for years.

‘She was struggling with dance steps’
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Terence said, “I remember when Boom was just released, she was coming in the way of my studio. She was doing a diamond jewelery show. We were trying to teach her. She was also very young, she was too young, fresh for India, very much, ‘I like what I am going to do?’ It was not very Bollywood, we kept it more western, but still, she was struggling with dance steps.
However, when Terence noticed that Katrina’s killer had touched me with a race (2008) in Zara Zara, he could not believe that it was the girl he had met.
“After the boom, I did a show with her. He did not have that figure. And that path did not do it … When Zara Zara touched me, I called Bosco (Martis, Choreographer) and said, ‘Is this the same girl who is with that figure?’ One of the most hardworking actors, Katrina Kaif.
Terence revealed the best dancers in Bollywood
When asked that he considered the best dancers in Bollywood, Terence mentioned several names, but highlighted Deepika Padukone’s Grace and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s beauty onscreen.
