Karnataka Nataka again? Amid political quarrels around the top leadership of the Karnataka Congress, Caos exploded at Karnataka Bhavan on Saturday, as colleagues of CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivkumar attacked each other with each other, even accused of attacking another officer with another officer.
H Anjaney, a special officer of Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar, said, “I was beaten with a shoe and hurt my honor and dignity.
Anjane demanded that a departmental inquiry should be done against C Mohan Kumar, Special Officer of CM Siddaramaiah.
What does the complaint tell
In a detailed complaint, Shivkumar’s Special Officer claimed that CM Siddaramaiah’s Special Officers were systematically “interrupting duties”.
“In his office, he threatened to take off his shoes and defeat me (Anjaneya). Mohan came to the office premises to defeat me in front of everyone. Mohan is responsible. If there is an accident, Anjane said in a formal complaint with the Chief Secretary registered with the Chief Secretary for the Karnataka government.
Citing a series of events, H Anjaneya also urged that a departmental inquiry be conducted in the promotion of C Mohan Kumar, and also in the fact that his “dignity has been lost.”
However, Mohan Kumar clarified that he did not threaten to hit with a boot, and claimed that Anjaneya had sarcastically described him as something unfair. Kumar said that he was brutally treated at the Karnataka building.
CM Siddaramaiah says that the clash should be reviewed
Talking about the incident, CM Siddaramaiah had earlier said that he had learned about someone’s clash and would review it, PTI said.
Delhi Police has said that it did not receive any PCR calls or complaints about the confrontation in Karnataka Bhavan and will take appropriate action if any such complaint is filed.
