The film has collected more than Rs 500 crore at the global box office. ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has made the atmosphere sizzle with its earnings on Sunday.
According to the report of Saccanilk, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ earned around Rs 85 crore in India on Sunday. The film has collected Rs 302 crore in India till its first weekend. ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has earned the most in the Telugu version. The film has earned Rs 162.1 crore from the Telugu version, Rs 18.3 crore from the Tamil version, Rs 110.5 crore from the Hindi version.
Apart from this, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has earned Rs 9.7 crore from the Malayalam version and Rs 1.8 crore from the Kannada version. The film could not even collect Rs 10 crore in Karnataka and Kerala. The report also claims that the film has earned Rs 500 crore worldwide. However, this is an estimate, the final collection is awaited.
‘Kalki 2898 AD’ created box office history by becoming the third biggest opener in Indian cinema. It collected Rs 191 crore at the global box office on its first day. As per the first day collection, it has surpassed the global opening records of blockbusters like KGF 2, Salaar, Leo, Saaho. However, it could not break the records of ‘RRR’ and ‘Bahubali 2’.
