In the last 40 days, this organization has given life to about 200 people.
The managing director of the organization, Lakhan Gangarekar, told Local 18 that for the past 6 months, his organization has been conducting many activities in Khargone district including social work, treatment of the needy, financial aid to them, free computer training for personality development of youth, sewing training to provide employment to women, environmental protection, etc.
There is a team of 600 people
He told that one and a half months ago, a case came to the organization. Who needed blood very badly. Then the members of the organization went to the hospital and donated blood for that person. Taking inspiration from here, the mission of blood donation started. 600 people who donate blood from Khargone, Dhar, Khandwa were associated with the organization. Now whenever blood is needed anywhere, these members of the organization reach the hospital and donate blood.

Gangarekar said that the organization has issued a helpline number 9977773784. If any person or Khargone Blood Bank calls on this number, the details are put in the organization’s WhatsApp group. On which any member donates blood by reaching the hospital at his own expense. This service is free. No charge is taken.
