Renowned mangaka Gege Akutami recently confirmed that the Jujutsu Kaisen manga’s ongoing story, the “Shinjuku Showdown Arc,” is, in fact, its final arc. Fans have been speculating about the series’ end for quite some time, and this week the series has finally kicked off with a bang. Despite its impending finality, this beloved manga saga is expected to take its time closing the book on its characters.
X/Reputed Jujutsu Kaisen scooper @Go_Jover on Twitter highlighted yesterday that the previous sub-plot – the Killing Game arc – was a “bunch of mini-arcs”, so it wouldn’t be unheard of for Gege to be given a similar treatment to Shinjuku Showdown.
Apart from contemplating the future of this in-demand series, the JJK mangaka will be going on a week-long break after the release of the upcoming chapter 263 amid health concerns.
Therefore, after the Monday, July 15 (JST) release, Weekly Shonen Jump issue #34 will not include any chapters of Jujutsu Kaisen. The series will resume next issue #35.
Meanwhile, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 263 spoilers have gone viral on social media. According to the latest information shared by @Go_Jover on X/Twitter, the chapter releasing on July 15 will be 19 pages long.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 263 Spoiler
Alleged leaks indicate that the pages of the 263rd edition will first show Yuta’s Unlimited Void Domain being demolished. In these opening moments of the chapter, the King of Curses’ skin will also be torn apart as he lands outside the barrier, while his Malevolent Shrine’s barrier will be destroyed simultaneously.
Taking full advantage of this opportune moment, Todo and Yuji, along with Yuta, triple team each other and launch their Hollow Purples attack against Sukuna.
Todo urges Yuta to continue his deadly attack without concern for their well-being, as he will use Boogie Woogie to avoid these attacks.
After suffering such injuries and using his field, Sukuna is in no condition to use his cursed technique.
Despite gaining the upper hand in the fight against Sukuna, Yuta is eventually seen falling to the ground as Kenjaku’s cursed technique runs out of gas. The manga narrator reveals that his whistle impersonated by Yuta was burned after the domain was broken.
Yuta soon realizes that without Rika Orimoto in his body, he can no longer take advantage of the powers of the Copy Cursed Technique. Although he initially believed he would be able to use Kenjaku’s whistle, he failed to take that information into account when copying his technique.

Yuji continued his relentless attack while Todo considered the implications of slapping his Vibraslap. Although it hits Sukuna, it does not cause a swap, which leaves Sukuna satisfied.
Suddenly, Hana Kurusu’a Angel Whistle comes to their aid. In contrast, Todo’s Vibraslap breaks after completing its work one last time. The narrator also confirms that the range of Todo’s cursed technique was expanded with the use of the Binding Wow.
A flashback shows a confusing conversation between Hana and Yuuta and the others as they consider their stakes in their attempts to split Sukuna and Megumi’s souls and save Megumi.
Yuuta reveals the true limit of his Copy Technique to be the ability to hold two identical cards in his hand. Jujutsu Kaisen 263 issue concludes with Hana destroying Sukuna with the Angel’s Maximum Output: Jacob’s Ladder technique. However, whether the intended blow hit Sukuna, causing him to be separated from Megumi, will be revealed in a future chapter.
Finally, the editor’s final comment reveals the tone of the upcoming chapter: “At the eleventh hour, they play their trump card!! Where will this battle to the death go next?!”
