Jio made plans expensive, but gave 2 gifts absolutely free with it

New Delhi. Reliance Jio has announced a 12 to 25 percent hike in the prices of its prepaid and postpaid plans (Jio tariff hike). The new tariff plans will come into effect from July 3. Along with the announcement of tariff hike, Jio also launched two new apps. The new AI-powered apps, JioSafe and JioTranslate, will be available free to Jio users for one year. After this, users will have to pay Rs 199 per month for JioSafe and Rs 99 per month for Jio Translate. These new apps underline Jio’s dedication to enhance user experience through advanced technological solutions.

Through Jiosafe, the company will provide quantum secure voice calling, messaging, text, image and file transfer facility. For this, a charge of Rs 199 will be levied every month. But, Jio users will get it for free for one year. This application is designed to provide security to personal and business communications. It will protect users’ data from any potential cyber threat. Jiosafe’s quantum encryption technology represents the next generation of digital security. Rates increased after two and a half years
Jio is going to increase mobile service rates for the first time after a gap of about two and a half years. Jio will increase mobile recharge rates by 12 to 25 percent from July 3. The company gave this information in a statement on Thursday. The price of the lowest recharge is being increased to Rs 19. This is a 1 GB data ‘add-on-pack’ pack, which was priced at Rs 15. This is about 25 percent more. The company said that the price of 75 GB postpaid data plan will now increase from Rs 399 to Rs 449. Jio has also increased the price of the popular Rs 666 unlimited plan with 84 days validity by about 20 percent to Rs 799.
