Jigra Box Office Collection Day 6: There are a lot of expectations among fans from Alia Bhatt’s solo release in 2024 but it seems that the film has failed to live up to the expectations upon release. Jigra did not show much growth during weekdays after a weak weekend and saw another decline in its earnings. According to Sacnilk.com, the film earned less Rs 2 crore on Wednesday. The latest update states that Jigra collected Earned Rs 1.25 crore on the sixth day of release, which is the lowest till date. This film starring Alia Bhatt recorded the lowest opening in a decade 4.55 crores. The film collected Earned 6.55 crores on the second day and saw a decline in earnings. Earned 5.5 crores on the third day. with fifth day’s earnings 1.65 crores, now the total collection is done 21.10 crores.

Jigra has made headlines for the wrong reasons in the last few days. The film has faced several controversies, including negativity regarding Alia’s casting in the film. Divya Khosla Kumar claimed that the film is a jailbreak drama, similar to the story of her last film Saavi. He also accused Alia of manipulating the box office numbers of Jigra. Divya alleged that Alia bought tickets for her film and announced “fake collections” to deceive the public.
Jigra revolves around a devoted sister, Satya Anand (Alia), who embarks on a harrowing journey to save her brother Ankur Anand (Vedang Raina). Produced under the banner of Dharma Productions and presented by Viacom18 Studios and Eternal Sunshine Productions, Jigra is co-written by Debashish Erengbam and Vasan. It was released in theaters on 11 October.
