The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to declare the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) main session 2 results by 17 April 2025.
After the result is declared, applicants can download their scorecards on the official website. The official website to download the result is jeemain.nta.nic.in.
NTA JEE Main Session 2 Paper I (BE/BTech) April 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8 was held in 531 centers located in 285 cities across the country and 15 cities outside India. Paper 2 Exam (Burch/BPlanning) was held on 9 April 2025.
The provisional answer key for session 2 paper 1 was released on 11 April.
On 13 April, NTA shut down JEE Main Session 2 Provisional Answer Key Objection window. In addition to the provisional answer key, the agency released the recorded answers and questions from the candidates.
To submit an objection, a candidate had to pay a non-worthy qualified fee 200 per question. After submitting the objection, the experts will review it, and if they are found valid, the final answer key will be modified.
How to check JEE Mains Session 2 Results?
- Go to the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Select Session 2 Scorecard Download link.
- Fill the requested information and log in.
- Check your mark and download the results for future reference.
The NTA score will be calculated to correspond to the raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate. A question is dropped in the case, NTA All the candidates have been assured that full marks will be provided for that question.
The final NTA score will include scores for each of the three subjects MathematicsTotal in Physics and Chemistry and Paper 1 exam.
NTA has warned students not to be ‘misled’ by report
Responding to allegations about errors in JEE Mains Answer Key, the NTA took its official X handle and said, “It is not desirable to conclude on the basis of provisional answer key. NTA would like to advise and inform the candidates that they should not be misled by reports that create unnecessary doubts and concerns.”
The NTA said that if the challenges of the candidate are found correct, the answer key will be revised and accordingly will be applied to the reactions of all the candidates.
According to the official notice, the NTA said, “Based on the revised final answer key, the result will be prepared and declared; No individual candidate will be informed about his challenge acceptance/ non-concept of his challenge. The finals given by experts will be final after disposal of the challenge.”
JEE Mains 2025 Exam: What happens after cleaning it
Successful candidates in JEE Mains 2025 exam will be eligible for admission to NITs, IIITs, GFTI and other participating institutions through counseling process.
In addition, the top 2.5 lakh eligible candidates of JEE Main 2025 may also appear in JEE Advanced 2025, who are eligible for admission to IITs across India.
