JEE Mains 2024: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit card for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2024 exam Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) exam. As per the official website, candidates can download the admit card from the official website i.e. jeemain.nta.ac.in. Paper 1 exam will be held on Saturday i.e. 27th January.
JEE Main Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) examination will be conducted in two shifts: the first shift will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon while the second shift will be held from 3:00 pm onwards. 00 PM-6:00 PM.
Candidates appearing on 27th January 2024 must download the admit card of JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 1 (January 2024) using their application number. And date of birth.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to download JEE Main Paper 1 admit card:
Step 1: Visit the official JEE Main website – jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on ‘Download Admit Card B.Arch/B.Planning and BE/B.Tech’. ,
Step 3: Now enter your application number, date of birth, course, security pin and click on submit.
Step 4: Your JEE Main 2023 Session 1 Paper 1 Admit Card will appear on the screen
Step 5: Check all details on admit card
Step 6: Download it for future reference
Please check the following as mentioned on the admit card:
➢ Reporting time at the center
➢ Gate closing time of the center
➢ Exam Date
➢ Shift and timing of test
➢ Place of testing
Essential Things to Carry for the Exam
As per NTA, candidates should bring only Admit card downloaded from the NTA website (a clear, preferably colored printout on A4 size paper), a passport size photograph (same as uploaded with the online application form) to be pasted on the attendance sheet at the centre, a valid photograph ID Original Proof (PAN Card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhaar Card (with photograph)/e-Aadhaar/Ration Card/12th Class Admit Card).
It further states that ID cards issued by schools/colleges/universities/coaching centers, Aadhaar enrollment receipts without Aadhaar number, and photocopies or images stored on mobile phones, etc. will not be accepted.
Important instructions for students
– Candidates should carry instruments/geometry/pencil box, handbag, purse, any kind of paper/stationery/textual material (printed or written material), drinking water (open or packed), mobile phone/ear phone/microphone. Not allowed to go. / Wearing/carrying of any kind of watch including electronic watches with features like pager, calculator, documentpane, slide rules, log tables, camera, tape recorder, calculator in the examination hall/room, any metal object or electronic gadgets/devices for going.
-If a candidate goes for bio-break/toilet, he/she will have to undergo mandatory frisking and biometrics again.
