The happiness of the family of Bhavya Tiwari of Noida knew no bounds after he secured All India Rank (AIR) 19 in the Joint Entrance Exam (Advanced)-2024. He got 323 out of 360 marks in the exam, while he got 99.99 percentile in the qualifying JEE-Main.
Bhavya, who passed Class 12 from Apeejay School in Noida, said, “After giving JEE Advanced, I was sure that I would be in the top 20 in the country. I am happy. I want to study computer science from IIT Bombay, which has been my childhood dream.”
Bhavya said that he firmly believes that one can prepare for class 12 board exams and JEE exams simultaneously. His advice to JEE aspirants is to not limit themselves to NCERT books but also take mock tests. “If a candidate stays focused, he can clear both boards and JEE-Advanced simultaneously,” he said.
“My school supported me emotionally and logistically. Unlike other schools in NCR, practical sessions were held every week and teachers took out time to correct students’ mistakes. This helped a lot,” he said.
Bhavya lives in Noida with his parents and younger brother, plays lawn tennis and cricket and idolises Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah. His mother Bimla Tiwari is a housewife and his father Ashok Tiwari is a businessman.
Meanwhile, Ghaziabad’s Kanav Chaudhary secured AIR 56 in the exam. He scored 311 marks in the 360-mark exam. He wants to study computer science at IIT Delhi as it is close to his home. His father Vinod Kumar is a software engineer and he also wants to take advantage of his experience.
Talking about his success mantra, he said, “If your fundamentals are strong, there is no problem.” Tanish Agarwal from Noida got AIR 411. He wants to pursue either Mathematics and Computing at IIT Delhi or Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at IIT Roorkee. They both appeared for FIIT JEE.
